CIVIC RIGHTS WING:

Pukar Foundation has taken exceptional steps regarding the civic apprehension and campaign against the unlawful and contrary to the approved plan construction.

Karachi is facing the core problem like the spontaneous and unmethodical construction in across the city. The relevant Karachi Building Control Authority has been unsuccessful to overcome the violent buildings. These violations have been occurring on a large scale to the whole city and caused the jungle of concrete. The staff of KBCA is involved the patronizing these violent construction and building. It is also deep concerned that commercial flats are being built on the approval plan of single house, which is not only utter violation of Building Bye Laws but also undermine the infra structure and environment of the city.

Pukar Foundation has filed constitutional petitions in the Hon`able High Court of Sindh at Karachi against the different towns of the city, where the illegal construction was carried out and the concerned Government Authorities were looking over in performing their duties.

Pukar Foundation has filed the Constitutional Petitions against plots in question.

COMPLAIN CELL

Pukar Foundation has set up the Complain Cell regarding the unlawful and beyond the approved plan construction. Any citizen/NGO and institution can lodge the complaint against the construction where violation and contravention be arise. Pukar Foundation will drive the campaign against the subject and in case the Authorities are failed to stop the violation, the Foundation will knock the door of Hon` able High Court of Sindh at Karachi under the Article 199 of the Constitution of Pakistan 1973.
